The Cove at Brooking

Special Board of Directors Meeting
August 7, 2018

Directors present: Paul Whitworth, John Gregg, Bob Silva, Pat Curry and via telephone
Laura Schneirson.

Members attending: Joe Mohr, Jim Rich, Jeff Russell and Len Gaetz

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM

Meeting notice was posted and emailed August 3, 2018

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the recommendations from the Stairway Committee to replace the current stairway.

Len Gaetz described the details of the two proposals and why the committee unanimously recommended the Board accept the bid submitted from New Creation Builders

Paul moved to accept their recommendation providing the Construction Contract meets all appropriate terms. Motion seconded and passed unanimously.

John suggested we use $20,000.00 of the Capitol Investment Funds toward defraying the cost of building the stairway. Motion made, seconded and passed unanimously.

Paul thanked Len, Jim Rich and John Gregg for their work.

The Cove’s Board of Directors met on Tuesday June the 12th, 2018, and it was unanimously agreed, that the current HOA officers, would continue, in their respective roles.

Pat Curry, is The Cove’s HOA Board Secretary, John Gregg, will continue to serve as HOA Board Treasurer, and Paul Whitworth, will serve as the President, of the HOA’s Board.

Bob Silva, and Laura Goldberg Schneirson, are also members of the HOA Board of Directors.

We want to thank all of the members of our community, for their continued support, and for the help, that you all provide, to make the Cove, a wonderful place to live.

The next regular HOA Board meeting will be scheduled for August, 2018, and notice will be emailed, and posted, as usual
